I based the final size on how many full “OMG” pieces fit for slightly larger than the runner-up’s head. I needed to cut out 18 badges and gently curve them. I used a heat gun to make the badges malleable and an oven safe glass bowl to gently shape them roughly to the curvature of the head. You can see the intense wire setting. I also used needle-nose pliers to try reducing the thickness of it. Blue tape was mostly a placeholder, but the brown pieces are thermoplastic, I quickly learned that they snapped off quickly. I used a sharp tool with a piece of cardboard behind the badge to create the holes. Tape was used to keep the not yet wired pieces all together in one place.
